The theme for our first seminar is “Latest Developments in Trade Law.” Regarding trade law, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) came into effect on December 30, 2018, and the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) took effect on February 1, 2019. This seminar will explain the latest developments in trade law that legal professionals should understand, along with their impact on competition law, intellectual property law, and international dispute resolution practice.
