Elizabeth has extensive experience handling litigation and transactional matters. In commercial litigation, she has handled a wide range of cases, including breach of contract, employment law, fraud, commercial real estate, and regulatory matters. The combination of understanding litigation, knowing how cases play out in court, and understanding how products are developed within business teams provides a good perspective when reviewing or drafting transactional documents such as contracts, statements of work, handbooks, and marketing materials.
Elizabeth has spent 10 years working in the corporate world in Japan, and is familiar with both Japanese and US business practices. She speaks and reads Japanese, and understands the challenges of cross-border agreements.
