Miura & Partners (‘M&P’) is pleased to announce the opening of its office in Texas, scheduled for the summer of 2026.

Texas has experienced rapid growth in recent years, becoming one of the nation’s leading economic powerhouses not only in the energy sector but also in fields such as technology, healthcare, and aerospace. As many global companies relocate their headquarters to the state, its importance as a manufacturing, sales, and R&D hub has never been greater for Japanese companies.
In response to this growing demand from Japanese clients for access to Texas and broader U.S. markets, M&P has decided to establish a new office in the state. By establishing a presence in Texas, we will provide agile legal services grounded in the latest local laws and business practices, building a robust system to support Japanese companies in their U.S. business expansion.

Members of Texas Office: The Texas office will be led by Junko Shiokawa, who specializes in investment funds, cross-border transactions, dispute resolution, and other fields,  Norika Yuasa, who is a key member of our U.S. practice, and Taro Tanaka, who specializes in outbound transactions.
