We are pleased to announce that Miura & Partners LPC has opened an office in Shibuya, Tokyo on November 1, 2019. The Shibuya Office is headed by Shohei Onishi, a legal advisor specializing in the creation of new businesses, and Tomomi Hioki, an expert in Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and policies related to data, who has supported business and research & development practices that handle data. Both will work closely with other members of the firm to provide comprehensive and seamless support to our clients. We chose Shibuya, where many innovative IT companies and startups gather, as a place to open our new office because we have held innovation as one of the most important fields to support since our establishment in January 2019. We will use this as an opportunity to strengthen our support for innovative companies and projects.
